New research on hypertension using an enzyme..

What is an enzyme??

-An enzyme is a protein(a macromolecules that consists of smaller building blocks of amino acids.) which catalyze only one kind of chemical reaction or even RNA molecules that act as an enzymes called ribozymes .
-It plays an important role in the preparation of medicines and also for preserving foods.

Hypertension(High Blood Pressure):It is a common disorder in which too much pressure is applied by the blood  to the blood vessels.
Causes:
-Genetics(a family history of hypertension)
-stress
-Vitamin D deficiency
-Being overweight
-Smoking!!

How these two are related?
An enzyme named ACE2(Angiotensin-converting enzyme) is an essential regulator of  heart function that help relax blood vessels.
-This enzyme affects cardiovascular system by narrowing your blood vessels and releasing harmones that raise your blood pressure.

Perhaps an alternative therapy for treating some types of  hypertention using an enzyme called ACE2...
